A Naples woman faces several charges, including making a terroristic threat and falsely reporting a catastrophic emergency following her arrest on warrants from three Yates County courts.
Laura M. DiCampli, 38, was taken into custody around 2:25 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Yates County Public Safety Building, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the warrants were issued by courts in the towns of Italy, Potter and Jerusalem.
DiCampli was charged with making a terroristic threat, third-degree falsely reporting a catastrophic emergency, second-degree aggravated harassment, making a threat of mass harm and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
She also faces several traffic violations, including failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely, failure to obey a police officer and failure to exercise due care.
The Sheriff’s Office did not provide details about the incidents that led to the warrants or specify which charges originated in each town.
DiCampli was taken to the Yates County Jail and arraigned in Yates County CAP Court. The Sheriff’s Office did not disclose the outcome of the arraignment.
