An Auburn man faces three misdemeanor charges after Cayuga County deputies responded to a domestic incident involving a juvenile in the town of Sennett late Sept. 13.
Sean Trani, 51, was charged with attempted third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree menacing, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies were called to the scene at about 11:19 p.m. Investigators said Trani became angry when he could not find his phone and pinned a female juvenile against a wall with a kitchen table, causing bruising.
The department said Trani was intoxicated. The release did not identify the juvenile or provide further details about her injuries.
Deputies processed Trani at the Public Safety Building and took him to Centralized Arraignment Court. He was released on his own recognizance the following morning, according to the sheriff's office.
Trani is expected to appear in Sennett Town Court at a later date. The department did not provide the court date.
