Seneca Lake Wine Trail donates $5,302 to Seneca Lake Pure Waters

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail has partnered with the Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association, donating $5,302.25 from its annual Seneca Lake Wine & Experience Auction held from March 22 to March 24 in Geneva. This marks the first collaboration between the two organizations, united by their commitment to preserving the health and beauty of Seneca Lake.


William Roege, Board President of the Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association, expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting its significance in supporting ongoing conservation efforts. The funds will aid in maintaining the lake’s purity and ensuring it remains a valuable natural resource for future generations.

Looking forward, both organizations are eager to strengthen their partnership, with plans to continue their joint commitment to sustainable practices around Seneca Lake. Brittany Gibson, Executive Director of the Seneca Lake Winery Association, emphasized the wineries’ dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship, underscoring the importance of supporting the Pure Waters Association’s work.
