Luke Bryan will take the stage at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, the first concert in 16 months.
Sales and tax revenue was lost when the amphitheater shut down throughout 2020 because of the pandemic.
Originally Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon planned to have only 5,000 people per concert, but with restrictions lifted there can now be 18-20,000 people.
The amphitheater has new security and traffic protocols and new seating areas that are now available to the public this year, including VIP seating areas.
McMahon hopes to have around 10,000 people at the concert next week.
