A Canandaigua man was charged in Yates County after deputies said a stolen boom lift from Pennsylvania was found at a Middlesex residence.
Matthew Gullace, 53, was issued an appearance ticket on a felony stolen property charge, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were notified June 26 by a Home Depot store in Pittsburgh that a 35-foot boom lift belonging to the store had been located in the town of Middlesex.
Investigators determined Gullace was in possession of the equipment, which had been reported stolen in Pennsylvania on June 19, according to the sheriff’s office.
Gullace, of Risser Road in Canandaigua, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony.
The arrest was reported at 10:15 a.m. July 9 at 227 Main St. in Penn Yan.
Gullace is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Town Court at a later date.
