A Canandaigua man was charged Friday after Ontario County deputies investigated a larceny report at Walmart on Recreation Drive.
Deputies responded around 4:42 p.m. July 10 to Walmart at 4238 Recreation Drive in Canandaigua for a reported larceny, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said Christopher L. Carr, 40, of Canandaigua, selected $354.47 worth of merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying.
Carr was taken into custody on a petit larceny charge and issued an appearance ticket, deputies said.
He is scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
