Catholic Daughters 806 recently awarded two $1,000 scholarships to high school graduates from the Finger Lakes region. The organization said the scholarships recognize graduates who demonstrate faith, love, and the advancement of human rights and dignity, along with commitment to family, community, education, kindness and leadership.
The scholarship recipients are Annie Bruning of Tyburn Academy in Auburn and Kiley Vandemortel of Waterloo High School.
Catholic Daughters 806 includes members from Geneva, Seneca Falls and Waterloo.
