Two tractor-trailers collided Thursday morning at Main and East Cayuga streets in Locke, according to first responders.
Emergency crews closed part of Route 38 for several hours while they removed debris and cleaned up spilled diesel fuel.
Fire officials said the crash happened after one driver failed to stop at a stop sign while hauling an empty trailer.
That driver was taken to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center with minor injuries, while the other driver was not hurt.
Police issued tickets to the driver accused of causing the crash.
