Deputies said Terry Schoonerman, 76, of Clifton Springs, was driving a Kia Soul eastbound when John Huling, 36, of Shortsville, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu and trying to make a left turn onto County Road 13. Huling failed to yield and was struck, deputies said.

Huling was taken by Shortsville Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for chest and shoulder pain. Schoonerman and a passenger were also taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for various minor injuries.

Huling was cited for failing to yield when entering a roadway. Manchester Fire, Shortsville Ambulance and Finger Lakes Ambulance assisted at the scene.
