A domestic incident in Seneca Falls resulted in the arrest of a local woman on a misdemeanor charge over the weekend, according to police.
Shelly Baran, 50, of Seneca Falls, was charged May 30 with fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department.
Police said the charge stems from a domestic-related incident. Additional details about the circumstances of the dispute were not released.
Baran was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Police said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
