Drivers in Auburn should expect detours and traffic disruptions Thursday as city crews conduct a water main repair project near Standart Avenue and Murray Street.

During construction, westbound traffic on Standart Avenue will continue flowing toward Grant Avenue, but eastbound traffic will be detoured onto Schwartz Drive.
Officials said the intersection will be fully closed to traffic coming from Murray Street, with vehicles redirected using Dawson Avenue.
The city is urging drivers to use caution in the area and watch for utility crews working within the construction zone throughout the day.
No timeline was provided for when the repair work is expected to be completed.
