Deputies said McCullough showed signs of drug impairment during the traffic stop.

Authorities said McCullough refused standardized field sobriety testing and was later taken into custody. Deputies also said he refused a chemical test after his arrest.

McCullough was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and failure to wear a seatbelt.

He was transported to the Yates County Jail, where officials said he would remain held pending arraignment in CAP Court.

Deputy Presher and Deputy Smith responded to the incident.
