Penn Yan police arrested a village resident after investigators said he subjected another person to unwanted sexual contact.
The Penn Yan Police Department said Hunter J. Parkhurst, 29, was charged with forcible touching following an investigation into an incident involving another village resident.
Police allege Parkhurst subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact of a sexual nature. He was taken to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing before being arraigned in Penn Yan Village Court.
Authorities said Parkhurst was released following arraignment with a stay-away order of protection.
