A Lyons man was arrested over the weekend after deputies say he violated an order of protection and threatened physical harm during a domestic incident in the Town of Lyons.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested Jeffrey T. Campbell, 38, of Butternut Street, on charges of first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.
According to investigators, the charges stem from a domestic incident in which Campbell allegedly violated an active order of protection and threatened the victim.
Campbell was transported to the Wayne County Jail and arraigned under the county’s centralized arraignment process. Authorities said he was being held pending his next court appearance, scheduled for May 19 in Lyons Town Court.
