Seneca Falls man charged with grand larceny, identity theft

A Seneca Falls man is facing felony charges following an investigation by local police into an alleged theft and identity theft case.

The Seneca Falls Police Department said Louis J. Saito, 32, of Seneca Falls, was arrested May 9 at approximately 9:03 p.m.

According to police, Saito was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony, and second-degree identity theft, also a class E felony.

Police said Saito was taken into custody, transported to the police department for processing and later released with an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
