Reliant Credit Union named Rochester Top Workplace for ninth straight year

Reliant Credit Union has once again been recognized as one of the Rochester region’s top workplaces, marking the ninth consecutive year the financial institution has earned the distinction.

The Sodus-based credit union announced this week that it received a 2026 Top Workplaces award from the Democrat and Chronicle based entirely on employee feedback collected through a confidential third-party survey conducted by Energage LLC.

According to Reliant, the survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including whether employees feel respected, supported, empowered, and given opportunities for growth.

“Being named a Top Workplace for the ninth year in a row is an incredible honor and a true reflection of Reliant,” President and CEO Pamela Heald said in a statement. “This recognition underscores the culture our team has built together which is one rooted in trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.”

Energage CEO Eric Rubino said organizations receiving the designation benefit from employee engagement and workplace cultures that encourage staff participation and feedback.

Reliant Credit Union currently serves more than 48,000 members and manages more than $742 million in assets, according to the organization. The credit union operates branches throughout Monroe, Ontario, and Wayne counties, including locations in Canandaigua, Farmington, Geneva, Newark, Macedon, and Sodus.

Founded in 1970, Reliant offers a range of financial services including mortgages, consumer banking, and financial education programs.
