A Canandaigua man is facing charges after deputies say he admitted to damaging property during a domestic incident late Friday.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 7:25 p.m. May 1 to a home on County Road 4 for a reported family trouble call, where a complainant reported her son was destroying the house.
Deputies located Jeremy R. Bagley, 44, at the scene. According to authorities, Bagley admitted to attempting to destroy property that did not belong to him.
He was taken into custody around 7:55 p.m. and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Bagley was transported to the Ontario County Jail and held for CAP Court.
He is expected to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
