A tense campus confrontation turned physical when a car allegedly struck two students, according to The Ithaca Voice. Michael Kotlikoff said a group surrounded his vehicle and blocked him as he tried to leave a campus event.
Student activists claim Kotlikoff ran over one student’s foot and backed into another while reversing. One reported a bruised knee, while the other said his foot still hurts and hasn’t been medically evaluated.
Kotlikoff described the encounter as harassment and said he carefully maneuvered away using safety features. The incident followed a debate on Israel and Palestine, and the university hasn’t publicly responded to the students’ claims.
