A 16-year-old’s legacy is living on in others, according to RochesterFirst, after a Victor teen’s organ donation saved four lives following his sudden death.
Talon Gracioso had already chosen to be a donor when he got his learner’s permit. When tragedy struck, his family honored that decision, allowing doctors at Strong Memorial Hospital to carry out life-saving transplants.
His donations also helped others through tissue and cornea recovery. Hospital leaders say hundreds of donors contribute each year, but stories like Talon’s highlight the lasting impact one decision can make.
