A Canandaigua man was arrested early Friday morning following a domestic incident that authorities say put a child at risk.
The arrest comes more than a week after the incident was first reported.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reported that John Lee Ray Knowlton, 31, was taken into custody around 1:06 a.m. May 1 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies said the charge stems from a domestic incident that occurred April 20 at a residence on State Route 364 in the Town of Canandaigua.
Knowlton was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
