A longtime packed dining room is going dark, according to the Democrat and Chronicle, as Otto Tomotto’s ends restaurant service after more than 20 years.
Owner Tim Archetko says rising food and labor costs—and tighter staffing—made traditional dining less sustainable, even with steady crowds. He’ll convert the space into a party house and catering operation for events like weddings and memorials.
The final dinner service lands on Mother’s Day, May 10. The revamped business will host up to 100 guests, while staff shift to his nearby restaurants, keeping familiar faces in the mix.
