A Rochester man is facing a driving while intoxicated charge following an early morning traffic stop in the Town of Victor.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reported that Vincent J. Salvati, 66, was stopped around 2:25 a.m. April 26 on State Route 96 after deputies observed a traffic violation.
Deputies said further investigation determined Salvati was intoxicated at the time of the stop.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued a ticket for failure to keep right. Salvati is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
