Northeast College of Health Sciences marked a milestone week with its Winter 2026 ceremonies, celebrating 117 students and the first graduating classes from several newly launched academic programs.
The multi-day event, held March 31 through April 4, featured a series of ceremonies culminating in commencement exercises that highlighted the college’s expanding role in training healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines.
The week began with the Commitment to Excellence Pledge on March 31, where first-trimester chiropractic students formally committed to their academic and professional journey. That was followed by the Transitions Ceremony on April 2, where 23 chiropractic students received white coats and moved into the clinical phase of their education, beginning hands-on care in community health centers in Seneca Falls, Depew and Levittown.
A new Pinning Ceremony on April 3 recognized the first graduates of the college’s undergraduate and certificate programs launched in 2024, including radiologic technology, diagnostic medical sonography and massage therapy. Faculty members and program leaders presented pins to graduates as they transitioned into professional practice.

Winter commencement on April 4 honored 26 doctor of chiropractic graduates, along with 13 radiologic technology graduates and 14 diagnostic medical sonography graduates. The ceremony also recognized the first 20 graduates of the college’s massage therapy certificate program, all of whom secured employment following graduation.
College officials said the addition of new programs reflects a broader commitment to preparing students for a more integrated and collaborative healthcare environment.
President Dr. Michael Mestan conferred degrees and certificates during the ceremony, while Northeast alumnus and professor Dr. Sylvia H. Regalla delivered the keynote address, encouraging graduates to embrace their role in shaping the future of healthcare.
“Today, you are not just graduating, you are joining a mission to reimagine health and transform lives,” Regalla told the class.
The commencement also included the annual convocation of the American College of Chiropractors, recognizing professional achievement and service among leaders in the field.
