A routine traffic stop in Wayne County led to a DWI arrest after deputies said a Palmyra man showed signs of intoxication and refused multiple breath tests.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Brian A. Bray, 30, of Palmyra following an early morning stop on March 28.
According to deputies, Bray was pulled over after failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign while turning at an intersection. During the roadside investigation, authorities determined he was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Deputies said Bray refused to submit to a preliminary breath test at the scene and later declined a chemical breath test during processing at the sheriff’s office.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a prescreen test, failure to stop at a stop sign, and having front side window tint that did not meet state requirements.
Bray was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment proceedings.
