A veterans group in Ovid is planning a memorial patio featuring engraved bricks to honor service members.
VFW Arthur G. Depew Post 6200 announced the project will be located at its post on Route 96.
The patio will include commemorative 4-by-8-inch and 8-by-8-inch bricks available for purchase with personalized engravings.
Organizers said the design will center around a 25-foot flagpole and include upright memorials, benches and lighting.
Community members can participate by purchasing engraved bricks to recognize veterans, organizations or individuals.
Information on donating a brick is available online or at the post.
