Museum sets grand reopening in Seneca Falls

A local museum will reopen to the public after completing renovations in Seneca Falls.

The Seneca Falls Museum and Tourism Center announced it will host a grand reopening and ribbon cutting April 29 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Officials said the ribbon cutting will take place at 3:30 p.m. as part of the event.

The reopening follows a period of renovations and improvements to the facility.

The upgrades were funded by the Seneca Falls Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

Executive Director Andrew Olden said the project marks the completion of about a year of improvements.
