Police arrested a juvenile following a reported domestic incident at a village residence.
The juvenile offender was accused of injuring another household member under age 17 during a physical altercation, according to Penn Yan Police.
Officers said the incident involved two individuals in the same household and resulted in physical injury.
Police charged the juvenile with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both class A misdemeanors.
The juvenile and his father were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at Yates County Probation at a later date.
