A multi-day reuse event aimed at reducing waste will take place in Seneca Falls in April.
The SwapCycle event is scheduled for April 17 through April 19 and will allow residents to exchange usable items instead of discarding them.
Organizers said residents can place unwanted but usable items curbside by April 17. Community members may pick up items on April 18 and April 19.
Participants are asked to register items in advance and ensure all items are in working condition.
Officials said the program is intended to reduce landfill waste while helping residents access needed goods.
Unclaimed items will be collected by the town on April 20 as part of bulk waste pickup.
