Police said the assault happened around 12:25 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2025, when Miles allegedly concealed his identity, jumped over a desk and struck an officer at an officer’s station.

The officer suffered multiple injuries and was taken for medical treatment. Investigators later identified Miles through body-worn camera footage and witness interviews.

A Livingston County grand jury indicted Miles on March 4. He was processed March 24 on charges including assault in the second degree and assault on a peace officer.

Miles was returned to state custody and is scheduled to appear in Livingston County Court at a later date.
