Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its annual open house on April 11 in Ithaca.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Visitors can tour veterinary facilities, meet faculty and students, and take part in hands-on activities and demonstrations. The event will highlight how veterinarians care for pets, wildlife and farm animals.
Activities include educational exhibits on animal anatomy and imaging, clinical demonstrations and interactive stations for children.
Organizers said the event typically draws thousands of attendees each year and aims to engage the community and introduce careers in veterinary medicine.
