The Buffalo Bills stayed unbeaten with a dominant 30-10 win over the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium, moving to 2-0 while dropping their AFC East rival to 0-2.
Running back James Cook powered Buffalo’s offense with 21 carries for 132 yards and two touchdowns, including a 44-yard burst in the second quarter that stretched the lead to 20-0.
Josh Allen added 59 rushing yards on six carries and completed 14-of-25 passes for 148 yards before giving way to backup Mitchell Trubisky late in the fourth quarter.
Elijah Moore capped Buffalo’s scoring with a four-yard touchdown run early in the final period. Kicker Matt Prater chipped in three field goals, highlighted by a 52-yarder.
Buffalo’s defense dominated from the opening snap, holding the Jets to 154 total yards and just two completions in the first half. The Jets didn’t reach the red zone until the closing minutes. Defensive end Joey Bosa forced a fumble for the second straight game, while Tre’Davious White and Cole Bishop led a secondary that kept New York’s passing attack quiet.
Jets quarterback Justin Fields was limited to one late touchdown drive, and running back Breece Hall managed only 29 yards on 10 carries.
