Deputies arrested a man Thursday afternoon after finding him with a stolen shopping cart near a Dollar General in Lyons.
Dante L. Rodriguez, 22, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies say he had the cart off store property when they stopped him.
The arrest happened around 3:40 p.m. in the Town of Lyons, according to a press release from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Rodriguez was released with an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
