A man was arrested following a domestic incident investigation in the Town of Lyons, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
James H. Watt, 49, of Water Street was taken into custody March 14 after deputies responded to a call on State Route 31.
Deputies said their investigation determined Watt placed his hands on the victim’s neck, causing her to fear for her life.
He was charged with second-degree harassment.
Watt was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and held pending arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
