Police in the Village of Bath arrested a man after responding to a disturbance on Liberty Street.
Authorities identified the suspect as James C. Crawford, 48, of Bath. According to police, Crawford was found to be violating a full stay-away order of protection during the investigation on May 7 at approximately 5 p.m.
Crawford was charged with one count of criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Officers processed Crawford and transported him to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment.
Officials urged anyone with information about similar incidents to contact the Bath Police Department.
