A Bath man was arrested after traveling to meet someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex, according to authorities.
Police say 45-year-old Michael Ellis had been chatting with a decoy from a predator-hunting group for weeks before showing up at a gas station in Brookville, Pennsylvania, where officers took him into custody.
Ellis allegedly discussed sexual plans, including wanting to impregnate the girl and hide the pregnancy. He now faces multiple felony charges, including attempted statutory rape and corruption of minors. He’s being held on $50,000 bail and due in court Sept. 29.
