The grant, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act, aims to reduce air pollution and meet the rising demand for EV infrastructure. SUNY will add 700 chargers, including fast and Level 2 options, enhancing accessibility for students, staff, and visitors.

Officials emphasized the initiative’s role in advancing state and national climate goals, supporting sustainable transportation, and reducing carbon emissions.
