The Buffalo Bills secured the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a dominant 40-14 win over the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium.

With the victory, Buffalo improved to 13-3 on the season, remained unbeaten against divisional opponents (5-0), and completed an 8-0 home record in the regular season for the third time in franchise history and the first since 1990.

The Bills controlled the game throughout, leading 12-0 at halftime, 33-0 after three quarters, and 40-0 early in the fourth. The Jets managed two late touchdowns in garbage time with Tyrod Taylor under center.

Josh Allen played three quarters, throwing for 182 yards and two touchdowns while adding another score on the ground. James Cook led the rushing attack with 53 yards and a touchdown. Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman also scored, while Tyrell Shavers caught a 69-yard touchdown for his first career NFL reception.

Buffalo’s defense was relentless, forcing three turnovers and recording four sacks. A.J. Epenesa, Von Miller, and Ed Oliver each tallied a sack, while DaQuan Jones and Greg Rousseau combined for another. Christian Benford and Jordan Phillips notched interceptions, and linebacker Matt Milano recovered a fumble, with Ed Oliver also forcing a fumble.
