A personal injury crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 6 and County Road 4 in Geneva on May 22 at approximately 4:53 p.m. Ontario County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene.
Lucia Serrano, 71, was attempting to turn right from County Road 4 onto County Road 6 when a plant on her dashboard fell into her lap, causing her to lose control and crash into a utility pole. Her husband, Jamie Serrano, 80, was in the front passenger seat but was not injured.
Finger Lakes Ambulance transported Lucia Serrano to Newark Wayne Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. White Springs Fire assisted with scene and traffic control.
