Police arrested a Seneca Falls man on several charges following an incident and subsequent investigation in late-March.

According to a news release, Earl Heath, 43, of Seneca Falls was arrested for obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, and harassment.

Police say the charges stem from an incident where Heath accused a person of stealing his drugs and then choked them repeated striking the victim in the face. He also prevented them from calling 911.

An order of protection was requested for the victim after the arrest and Heath was taken into custody to answer the charges at a later date.
