If approved by state and federal regulators, this affiliation will make The Lifetime Healthcare Companies the parent company of CDPHP, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, and Univera Healthcare. The companies aim to maintain their local brands while benefiting from shared technologies and resources.

Dr. John D. Bennett, CDPHP president and CEO, expressed pride in the partnership, emphasizing the shared mission of improving health outcomes and controlling care costs. Jim Reed, CEO of The Lifetime Healthcare Companies, highlighted the cultural alignment and mutual respect between the organizations. The affiliation, unanimously approved by both boards, awaits regulatory approval, but services for members, providers, and partners will continue as usual.
