Syracuse women’s lacrosse rolls past Cornell to win seventh straight

The No. 3 Syracuse women’s lacrosse team extended its win streak to seven games with a 17-4 victory over Cornell on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Orange improved to 10-3 on the season, while Cornell dropped to 7-4. 

Emma Terrell and Olivia Adamson scored four goals each to lead eight Syracuse scorers. Emma Muchnick recorded her second hat trick of the season, while goalkeeper Delaney Sweitzer made eight saves in 53 minutes. 


Josie Vogel scored twice for Cornell, while Alexa Donahoe and Caitlin Slaminko also found the back of the net. Ellie Horner stopped nine shots over the full 60 minutes. 

Box Score

Syracuse will host Pittsburgh in its final regular-season home game on Saturday, April 6, at 4 p.m. The game will be played at CNS Stadium. On that same day, Cornell will face Harvard on the road at noon.
