Good news out of Wayne County after a scary scene unfolded Friday night at Spencer Speedway.
A car on the track burst into flames, and according to family of the man driving – he was pulled out just in time.
“My son was in the car at Spencer Speedway that caught on fire,” Jill Lynn posted in an update on Facebook after the dramatic scene was captured in photos. “He was pulled to safety by a volunteer fireman just in time with just a superficial burn to his face.”
She thanked the community for their quick outpouring of support on social media.
The two postings about the incident had dozens of comments supporting the driver and hundreds of likes.
