Seneca Falls police took a Geneva man into custody after a trespassing complaint and subsequent investigation.

On May 23 Daniel W. Picchi, 28, of Geneva, was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department following a trespassing complaint. Picchi was found on the property of a local elementary school despite being previously barred.

Picchi refused to leave the premises, leading to his arrest on one count of criminal trespass in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.

He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the school.
