  • Staff Report

Deputies say they were called to a crash at the intersection of Route 441 and Canandaigua Road in Walworth on Monday.

Three people were hospitalized as result of the crash.

William Castle, 77, of Pittsford was traveling south on Canandaigua Road and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign to Charles Young, who was traveling west on Route 441.

Young’s vehicle collided with Castle’s, according to police, who say both drivers, plus a passenger, were sent to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Deputies were assisted by the Walworth Fire Department and EMS staff.
