Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that on May 19 at 12:22 p.m., Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Glen Haven Road in the Town of Sempronius. The stop was due to a speed violation, as the vehicle was traveling 43 mph in a 25 mph zone.
During the investigation, Timothy R. O’Hara, 37, of Skaneateles, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. O’Hara was arrested and charged with DWI and speeding.
O’Hara was processed at the Public Safety Building and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sempronius Court on June 4.
