Five-Star Bank was honored as the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for May 2024. The award was presented during the Chamber’s Business After Hours event on May 15, held at Wagner Vineyards in Lodi.
The event, attended by local businesses and Chamber board members, featured food and beverages from Wagner and Ginny Lee Café. Five-Star Bank, with branches in Seneca Falls and Ovid, was recognized for its exceptional service and community initiatives.
Recently, the Ovid branch partnered with UR Medicine to expand healthcare access by installing an on-demand health station. This facility allows users to track health indicators like blood pressure and weight, and to have live telehealth appointments with UR Medicine providers. This initiative has significantly improved healthcare access for the Ovid and Seneca County communities.
Business After Hours events are held monthly, except in January, July, and August, offering networking opportunities for local businesses and community members.
