The Ithaca Police Department says the victim of a shooting in the city has died.
The victim, identified as Teheran Forest, 43, of Ithaca, was transported to a regional trauma center, but succumbed to injuries from the shooting.
At this point, the investigation is active with no further information available.
Police say the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police are involved in the investigation.
IPD ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact them. Tips can be provided anonymously.
