As masks come off, colds and common viruses are making their comeback.
Dr. Ed Walsh with Rochester Regional said that they are mainly effecting kids after the year hiatus.
He explained that the virus reemerging is normally seen between Thanksgiving and Easter but is heavy right now.
Pharmacists urge parents to think ahead for the year and plan accordingly to keep kids healthy, especially if they have a condition like asthma. Their inhaler should be accessible at all times.
