A Lyons woman wanted by a half-dozen police agencies across the region, who was arrested earlier this year for possessing a stolen vehicle in Wayne County, was arrested again this week.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rebecca A. Mayo, 41, of Lyons, on charges of criminal possession of stolen property.
Deputies apprehended Mayo on an arrest warrant issued by the Town of Galen Court. She was taken to the Wayne County Jail, where she was processed and arraigned before being released on her own recognizance.
In February, Mayo was arrested after being found with a stolen car. Less than two months later, she was identified as being wanted by six different law enforcement agencies across the Finger Lakes.
Following her release, Mayo was handed over to the Greece Police Department due to additional outstanding warrants.
