Syracuse falls in NCAA opening round at Loyola

The Syracuse lacrosse season came to an abrupt end on Saturday, as No. 8 seed Loyola erased a four-goal deficit in the second half and won 15-13.

A seven-goal run erased the Orange’s four-goal deficit, while the Greyhounds’ netminder Jacob Stover made 17 saves to keep ‘Cuse off the board during the run, which lasted more than a quarter.
